OUR FIRST 100 x 100 EXTREME CHALLENGE WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!!!!  Congratulations to all of the swimmers who participated in the FIRST YMCA MARLIN EXTREME CHALLENGE!!  It was a GREAT DAY FOR SWIMMING!!! Way to GO SWIMMERS!!! THANKS MUCH TO Jessica Thompson, Gaby Sims, Joze Soborowicz, and Casey Thompson, who all were there cheering the swimmers on, making signs of support and helping out!  You were a great support to the swimmers!! Note: 10000 yd = 5.68181 miles!

FAIRFAX FUNDRAISING!! Our Fairfax Fundraising Packets are due back to the coaches by the end of January!!  If you have not received a packet, please contact by email coachpaula@eauclaireymcamarlins.com and we will be sure to get your family a packet.  Inside each packet are 5 letters for each family to send to friends/relatives and offer the opportunity to be a sponsor for our Fairfax Meet in June!  They also have the option of placing an ad in the program wishing their swimmer(s) good luck, or sponsoring an event.  This has been tremendously successful for our team in the past and we are hoping that each family will do their best to participate!  We are also looking for a few more volunteers to round out our fundraising committee this year!  If you would be willing to contact some businesses or previous sponsors on behalf of the Eau Claire YMCA Marlins Fairfax Meet, please contact Coach Paula at the above email address.  Thank you so much for your assistance!!

All swim team parents are asked to volunteer for 2 shifts per family for this weekend meet.  This is our only fundraiser for the team and it is an important part of every swimming family’s commitment to our team!  Please plan to volunteer that weekend!
